Dedicated Professionals

Impact employs 90 highly professional, intensively trained, and culturally diverse clinical and administrative staff members who serve approximately 500 men and women on any given day throughout the Impact continuum of care. Many of our employees are graduates of the Impact program and have multiple years in recovery. The names and faces below are just a sampling of the individuals who work at Impact.

Jim Stillwell, Executive Director

“I’m extremely proud of the organization we have all built over the last 4 decades. Generations of men and women call Impact home. We are clients, staff, family members, sponsors…I am humbled by the fact that so many of us have gotten what we need from this organization and then shared it with others who needed it as much as we did. And that continues today.”

Don Faris, Clinical Director

“I feel like my life started at Impact . When I got to Impact I was looking for a way out of the prison I had built for myself. The men and women of Impact showed me the way out and how to stay out. Receiving that gift is why I do the work I do today; to help others like me to find the same thing—true freedom.”

David Ramage, Director of Drug Court Services

“I came to Impact 33 years ago as a helpless addict looking for a way to overcome my addiction. From jails and institutions to being married for 26 years, with three children and 5 grandchildren and a life beyond my wildest dreams, Impact worked for me. Today I am able to help others who are seeking change. It is very rewarding to watch others live their dreams as I have.”

Dr. Jill Hitselberger, Psy D Director of Psychological Services

“The Impact community is invested in helping people recover, and what sets the staff apart from other facilitates is that they truly care. As the Director of Psychological Services I collaborate with our other clinicians and treatment teams when I assess each client and make recommendations regarding mental health issues or unresolved emotional issues that trigger their substance use. It is an honor to work at Impact!”

Christina Gonzales MA ED. Clinical Coordinator

“I am so grateful for the opportunity to work at the place that returned me to a life of meaning and purpose. So much was wrong and it wasn’t until I took a good look at myself did I start to live right. I listened to others and followed their direction. It was hard but so worth it.”
