A Fresh Start

Impact Transitional Housing (a.k.a sober living) is usually reserved for those who have completed residential treatment and/or for those who have chosen to enroll in our outpatient programs and live in the supportive environment.

We offer multiple locations and housing arrangements. Each location is managed by Impact staff and each resident is expected to participate fully in the running of their house and in maintaining their own recovery. Peer support, shared responsibilities, and accountability are encouraged by staff and residents.

Employment

In our experience, positive employment makes a big difference in early recovery. We partner the clients who need this service with a vocational lab and a dedicated case manager who can assist in resume building, job search strategies and referrals for vocational training, apprenticeships, and entry level job opportunities. Impact maintains relationships with local and regional employers, vocational schools, employment agencies, county-run workforce programs and the local community college. Each week our vocational caseworker facilitates a support group meeting for clients to share their successes and challenges around job searches and other common issues that arise during the critical early recovery period.

Amenities

We have three sober livings in the San Gabriel Valley with a total of 48 beds. Transitional housing is not co-ed. Each house or apartment offers comfortable furnishings, fully equipped kitchens, flat screen televisions, wireless internet and parking. Bedrooms accommodate one or two persons. Linens are available upon request. Monthly Meal Plans are available at the Residential Dining Room for a very reasonable price.

Making Clean And Sober Connections For A Lifetime

Another important piece of the early recovery experience is the value of the shared experience. Continuing conversations that began in treatment is extremely useful in maintaining a good program of change. Making friends, holding each other accountable, sharing laughter, having fun and experiencing a full and meaningful life can begin right here in the supportive atmosphere of an Impact sober living house. If you have any other questions about Transitional Living or want to schedule a tour of the facility call our admissions office. Again, our goal is to make adapting to early recovery as smooth as possible. For answers to frequently asked questions, visit FAQs.
